Puppetmaster goes international

Hello fellow co-conspirators!

Well it’s been a crazy last week. It didn’t start that way for sure. I was planning to continue on development nice and easy, gathering the feedback from Full Indie and working out the kinks in the game, when I learned of this awesome event happening across the border in Seattle. Now I knew about #PAXwest, and I wasn’t planning on going. What I didn’t know was that there was adjacent indie showcase called Indie Forest where a whole bunch of devs would get together for drinks and play tests.

That got my attention…

So in 3 days I organized where to stay (bunked with 4 other friends at a hotel room), how to get there (last minute train ride), what to show ( an improved version of the Full Indie prototype) and how to market it (McGyvered a branded crown for my laptop with cardboard and bulldog clips). Honestly I don’t like doing things last minute, but I wasn’t about to miss this opportunity.

I admit I’m kinda proud of the bulldog clips…

It went great! Just like last public playtest, people lined up to test the game and I even had to pull some people out of the game to let other try it out! Suffice it to say, it has pushed to me put extra effort into the game and get it out so all of you can enjoy it as well.

Happy Conspiring!
